According to the public 2 district health website, Governor Kemp has added adults age 65 and older, law enforcement officers, firefighters and first responders to the current group of individuals eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccination in phase 1-A.

COVID19 VACCINE:

Many people are calling asking about when they can get the vaccine. Please check the district 2 public health website for directions. They are currently in phase 1A which includes people working in a health care setting, EMS, and long term care residents and employees. They do not know when they move to phase 1B which will include other essential workers (including those in the education setting and grocery workers) and people age 65 and up with comorbidities. Continue to check their website for updates. http://phdistrict2.org/

We do recommend vaccination and do not know of any contraindication to get vaccinated.

Today, we had the sweetest visit from Sophia Rosetti, and her mom, Susan Pennington Rosetti. Sophia hand made the most beautiful face masks for me and all my staff. These masks are comfortable, durable, essential, and very stylish. I will proudly wear mine any time I am out and about. I know this young lady spent many hours on this wonderful project. Sophia, thank you for your hard work and kindness. We are very proud of you!

UPDATE:

We will be open for allergy shots only on 5/4-5/8. Telemedicine visits will continue as scheduled. Patients are required to wear their own mask. We will not be able to provide masks for patients in the office.

We will allow patients to wait in their car after their allergy shot is given. However, we expect patients to report any symptoms immediately and to still be checked prior to leaving the facility.

We continue to ask patients not to come in for their allergy shots if they are sick.

We will start seeing patients in office on 5/11. We will still offer telemed visits through May if you do not feel comfortable coming in. Patients coming in must wear their own masks.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate these unprecedented times.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, as of Monday March 30th our office will not be seeing patients for office visits or allergy shots. We will be available during regular office hours by telephone. A provider will be available for telemedicine visits and to speak with sick patients needing more immediate care. We hope to resume normal operating hours as soon as possible and will keep you posted.
