Heat-related illness is one of the most preventable occupational hazards facing outdoor workers, yet it remains a leading cause of work-related death and injury each summer.

SCCAHS offers a free, online Heat-Related Illness Course designed for farmworkers, fishing crews, coastal laborers, and their supervisors. It's available for individual learning or group training and covers recognition, response, and prevention.

We encourage health professionals, employers, and extension educators to share this resource widely this season.
