Postpartum hip pain isn’t always just about the hip.

Pregnancy and delivery can change the way your pelvis, core, hips, and low back work together.

Then add:
Carrying a baby on one side.
Feeding positions.
Less sleep.
More sitting.
More bending.
And a completely different daily workload.

Your body may start compensating without you even realizing it.

That’s why simply stretching the painful hip over and over may not be enough.

We want to look at the mechanics behind the pain—how your pelvis is moving, how your core is functioning, and where your body may be taking on extra stress.
Because the place that hurts isn’t always the whole story.

If postpartum hip pain has been hanging around longer than you expected, comment HIP or message our office.

Pregnancy changes the way your entire body moves.

Your pelvis shifts.

Your core is stretched.

Your posture changes.

Your hips take on different loads.

Then baby arrives… and suddenly you’re carrying, feeding, rocking, bending, and sleeping in positions your body was never doing before.

So when hip or low-back pain shows up postpartum, the answer isn’t always:
“Just give it time.”

Your body may simply be moving differently now.

And if that new pattern keeps creating pain, it’s worth looking at how your hips, pelvis, core, and low back are working together.

You don’t need to “bounce back.”

You need your body to feel supported and function well in this new season.

If this sounds familiar, comment POSTPARTUM or message our office.

Your body changes a LOT during pregnancy and postpartum.

Your hips, pelvis, core, posture, and the way you carry weight can all change—and those changes don’t instantly disappear after delivery.

That’s why postpartum hip pain can be more than “just part of being a mom.”

If your hip hurts when you walk, sleep, carry your baby, stand up, or exercise, it may be worth looking at how your body is moving and compensating now.

The goal isn’t to tell you to push through it.

The goal is to understand why it keeps happening and what your body may need to function better again.

If postpartum hip pain has become your new “normal,” comment HIP or message our office.

If your chiropractor adjusts you before figuring out why you hurt… that’s backwards.

Pain tells us where you feel the problem.

It doesn’t always tell us where the problem started.

That’s why a good evaluation matters.

Before our doctors decide what care makes sense, we looking at things like:

How you move.
Where you’re restricted.
Where you’re compensating.
What keeps getting overloaded.

And whether your symptoms point to something that needs a different kind of care.

Because two people can have pain in the exact same spot and need completely different approaches.

The goal isn’t just to get a “crack.”

The goal is to understand the pattern well enough to make the right next move.

If you’re tired of guessing, comment EVAL or message the office.

If the pain went away… but keeps coming back, you didn’t solve the problem.

You got relief.

There’s a difference.

Most people wait until the pain shows up, calm it down, and move on.

Then a few weeks or months later—
Same back pain.
Same neck tension.
Same headaches.
That’s not random.
That’s a pattern.

So instead of only asking:

“How do I make this stop hurting?”

Start asking:

“Why does this keep happening?”

Because the goal shouldn’t be getting really good at managing flare-ups.

The goal should be understanding what keeps creating them.

If your pain keeps disappearing and coming back, comment PAIN below.

If your headaches keep coming back, the problem isn’t that you need a better painkiller.

The bigger problem is that you may still be treating every headache like a new event instead of looking at the pattern behind it.

Stress can matter.

So can your neck.
Your jaw.
Your posture.
Your sleep.
Your screen time.
Recurring headaches are data.

If the same symptom keeps showing up, stop asking only:

“How do I make this go away?”

Start asking:

“Why does this keep happening?”

Which of these 5 are you guilty of most—1, 2, 3, 4, or 5? 👇

If your headaches keep getting blamed on stress… stress may not be the whole story.

Stress absolutely can contribute to headaches.

But here’s what often gets missed:

Stress can also change the way you breathe, clench your jaw, hold your shoulders, sleep, and carry tension through your neck and upper back.

So if your headaches keep showing up alongside:

• Neck tightness
• Shoulder tension
• Jaw clenching
• Long hours at a computer
• Poor sleep
• Stiffness at the base of your skull

…it may be worth asking a better question.

Not just:

“How do I get rid of this headache?”

But:

“What keeps creating the same pattern?”

Recurring headaches can have many causes, and not every headache is a chiropractic issue. But when the same symptoms keep repeating, there may be a mechanical piece worth evaluating.

If this sounds like you, comment HEADACHE or message our office.

If your headaches keep getting written off as “just stress,” it may be time to look at the **whole pattern**.

Stress can absolutely play a role—but it can also affect sleep, breathing, jaw clenching, posture, and the tension you carry through your neck and upper back.

That doesn’t mean every headache is coming from your neck. It simply means recurring headaches can have **more than one contributing factor**.

Notice what tends to show up when your headaches do:

• Neck tightness
• Shoulder tension
• Jaw clenching
• Long hours at a computer
• Poor sleep
• Stiffness at the base of the skull

Awareness is often a helpful first step.

**Comment “HEADACHE” if this sounds familiar.**
