The Neuro Center located in Northeast Georgia is has an immediate opening for a PRN Sleep Tech.

Job Responsibilities May Include:

Set-up and performance of of sleep-related study procedures (i.e. MSLT, MWT, PSG) depending on the needs of our current clinical research studies
Administration of in-lab sleep studies
Training research participants on the use of home sleep study devices
Scoring of in-lab and portable sleep studies
Initiating Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) therapy and monitoring compliance for research study participants
Maintaining sleep lab equipment and supplies.

The Sleep Technician must follow policies of HIPAA, the IRB, and study sponsors including the NIH and FDA, and be able to work effectively with study coordinators, P*s, and other personnel to coordinate the flow of participants and data.

Schedule:

PRN Night shift
PRN Weekend availability (rarely)

Education:

High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Minimum 6 months experience as a sleep tech (required)

License/Certification:

Driver's License (Preferred)
BLS Certification (Preferred)
CPR Certification (Preferred)

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE/The Neuro Center
April 24, 2020

Dear Patients, Friends and Family,
We are implementing new policies to comply with social distancing recommendations from the CDC. Effective Monday, April 27, 2020 only patients will be allowed into the office unless a caregiver is specifically needed due to the medical condition. Exceptions will be assessed and granted on a case by case basis. We ask that all friends and family wait in the car and do not enter the office. We will continue screening patients for symptoms prior to appointments. Our waiting room has been rearranged to accommodate social distancing and we ask that all patients try to remain 6 feet apart in the waiting room. Our staff and cleaning service remain dedicated to sanitizing the office and equipment and trying to provide the cleanest environment possible. Established patients might be eligible for telehealth visits, please contact us for details.

The Neuro Center will be closed 4/8 and have limited hours on 4/9 & 4/10. We will be closing on 4/13 until (tentatively) 4/27. We value our patients and staff, please stay home and stay healthy!

Coronavirus Patient Update / The Neuro Center

Dear Patients, Friends and Family,
As members of your local community, we care deeply about the health and well being of our patients, families and staff members. At the Neuro Center, we focus our treatment only on patients with neurological and sleep disorders, not infectious diseases such as coronavirus or the flu. However, we wanted to let you know that we are taking additional safety precautions to reduce the risk of transmission to all including increased cleaning and sanitation procedures by staff and the cleaning service. We will not be closing our office at this time. Please be assured your health and the health of other community members is our highest priority.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please call the office during regular business hours. If you have traveled outside of the US within the past 2 weeks, or are exhibiting any flu/coronavirus symptoms, or have been in contact with any known coronavirus patient, we ask that you call us to reschedule.
