This morning was unlike any other morning.
If you know me, you know I'm a homebody. If you know me, you know my favorite thing to say is, "I'll leave my house the day it catches fire."
This morning was unlike any other morning. I ventured into the world at 6:30am for hot coffee and immediately regretted it.
The ugly side of human nature coldly greeted me with its condescending, dismissive arrogance. And the only mistake I made was asking myself what I did to deserve it; because the answer is nothing.
Sometimes the world beats us up for nothing. No rhyme, no reason, no cause to result in effect. And in those moments, we owe it to ourselves to seek healing and compassion.
So here is my favorite quote from one of my favorite people. If you have any outstanding wounds, I hope it helps heal them. ❤️
