This month, Twin County Regional Healthcare's Rehabilitation Services team joined the August Parkinson's Support Group meeting. Jon Strickland, PT, Director of Rehabilitation Services, and Marcy Carlini, Speech Pathologist, led an informative discussion on improving sensation awareness and strengthening the face, cheeks, lips, and tongue to support communication and swallowing. They also emphasized the importance of taking Parkinson's medications on time, every time, to help manage symptoms effectively.

Thank you to everyone who attended and participated in the discussion. Twin County Regional Healthcare is honored to support our community by providing education, resources, and services that help individuals live healthier lives.
