Why do we have money for a new pickle ball court but we don’t invest in better clean water for everyone!

The Illinois EPA found a chemical above state limits in three Galesburg wells, but the city says those wells aren't in use and the treated water reaching homes meets the standard for that compound.

The finding involves PFOS, and the samples came from raw, untreated well water rather than what's delivered to homes. A separate compound does still exceed the limit in Galesburg's finished water, unchanged since 2025. The city is designing two replacement wells expected in production by late 2027 or early 2028.

All water customers will receive a notice by mail. Here's what's in it and what it means.

It came as a surprise when our new machine asked for a new water filter just one month after we installed it...these filters should last up to 1 year max. But after seeing today's local headlines informing the community that they have found exceedingly high levels of contaminants in the city water, it makes sense 😡.

We opened our shop to offer clean living water at an affordable price, but when the EPA fails us yet again and now we must wait 2 years for a possible solution, it leaves us with no choice but to increase our water prices. We are still affordable compared to big pharma and most bottled water...again, this is living water with charge! Because remember, we are electrical beings.

We are replacing our filter tonight, and water prices will go up starting tomorrow.

We apologize for the EPA's BS solutions!
