Now that the I can take a moment to breathe a bit.. โบ๏ธ long post ahead..
Some of you may know, the most important part of opening a business is time... the time that many people are willing to give to help in any way.
NONE of that goes unnoticed. From those that volunteered to help (Shawna, Shelly, Tori, Jillian & Ari, Dee & Jesi. Thank You. ๐)
And then to those that got into the depths of it... ๐ฌโบ๏ธ๐
I have many thanks to give...
First, to my husband, Jared, for doing all of the many odds and ends of the not so glamorous jobs (the list is long) that he was more than happy to do.๐ And to my boys (1 more than the other ๐) for "man"handling the many boxes we lived with for the summer (and not complaining about it).
And in no particular order,
Noffke Sign Company for being able to get a sign made out front and ready in short notice. They've done all my decals & signs. They're always professional and look amazing.
Kim Birnbaum Low, who is the jack of all trades, the calm to my storm, and everything in between, from displaying to handywoman to running the Holmen shop. The list is long.
Also, Kaylee Gunderson, who was a life saver and last minute drove to Onalaska to grab a few extra shelves we needed to fill some space.
Savvy Tech Advice, for all of your professional wisdom in ALL things tech, for reducing my stress & calming me by 100%. We all know I'm the opposite of a tech gal & would have given up tech-wise by now. So much is appreciated for getting the store ready.
Tim Woxland (Natosha) for building my beautiful counter register and the 4 gorgeous counter/shelves that you will notice right away walking into both Holmen and Galesville stores. Creating my vision in that short amount of time is no small feat.
My landlords, Theresa & Dan Nelson for the work they put in prior to me moving in & allowing me to be a part of the Holmen community.
The Beach Club-Holmen for being a gracious neighbor.
My 2 nieces, Juliet & Evangeline ๐ for spending a few evenings pricing all the very little sized products we have.
My dad (Jeff) for putting in shelving downstairs, and pricing many products, and bringing mom lunch.๐
And last, but definitely not least.. My mom, Rita Hansen, who was with me from very the beginning, from helping me shop for tables and display pieces, to pricing, to organizing, to cleaning, to displaying, moral support.. Basically it all.
I couldn't have done this in 11 days without all of these wonderful people coming together and giving up their time to help make this space beautiful & welcoming.
I hope I have shown how much I appreciate you and your own professionalism in all things that I could never do.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!!

(Sorry for the not-so-great pictures. I'm surprised & thankfuI I got what I did.)
I also want to give a shout out to the many Galesville "customers," turned friends, who came to Holmen this past week to "check it out," but who I know actually came to support me. You know who you are. ๐ซถ You are THE reason for true success in small town businesses.
Thank YOU!! ๐
