🐾❤️ Celebrating National Dog Day at Capstone Station Camp! ❤️🐾

We were grateful to celebrate National Dog Day by welcoming some very special guests from the Humane Society of Sumner County! 🐶

Our residents had the sweetest visit with Toto, a small male terrier mix, and Biscuit, a beautiful small-to-medium mixed breed girl with the most gorgeous blue eyes! Both of these sweet pups are looking for their forever homes. 🏡💕

The visit was even more meaningful because we were able to send them home with all of the donations our community collected throughout the month. We are so proud of our residents and everyone who helped make our fundraiser a success!

The Pilot Club of Sumner County hosted a delightful tea party in our Memory Care at The Capstone at Station Camp. We enjoyed great food, engaging conversations, and a relaxing tea experience. Thank you, Pilot Club, for bringing joy to our residents! ☕🎉

✨ Last Week at Capstone Station Camp ✨
Another week of fun, learning, creativity, and meaningful connections is in the books!
🌿 Hannah from CBD American Shaman joined us to share information about the everyday benefits of CBD products, including topical creams, salves, body lotions, and other wellness products. Thank you for an informative presentation!
☕ We also hosted the Vietnam Veterans of America for their quarterly Coffee & Conversation, giving our resident veterans an opportunity to connect, share stories, and enjoy fellowship together. We are grateful for their service and always appreciate these special visits.
🦴 In preparation for our upcoming Humane Society fundraiser, residents spent time baking homemade dog treats for our furry friends.
🥁 We enjoyed a lively musical performance by Gabe Lamog, whose steel drum entertainment had everyone smiling, tapping their toes, and singing along.
🎨 We wrapped up the week by bringing out our artistic talents with hand-painted ceramic creations. Each piece was as unique and beautiful as the artist behind it!
Thank you to all of our wonderful guests, volunteers, and residents for making every week at Capstone Station Camp one to remember. We can't wait to see what this week has in store! 💙

Today, on National Senior Citizens Day, we’re celebrating the wisdom, stories, laughter, and life experiences of the incredible seniors who call our community home.

Every life story is filled with moments worth remembering, accomplishments worth celebrating, and memories that have shaped the people and communities around us. We’re honored to celebrate each resident and all that makes them uniquely who they are.

🎨✨ A Look Back at Last Friday's Craft! ✨

One of our favorite weekly traditions at Capstone Station Camp is Friday Craft Day, where residents enjoy creating something fun, useful, and unique.

Last week, we painted and personalized custom hairbrushes, turning an everyday item into a one-of-a-kind work of art that residents can enjoy every day.

Coming up this Friday: Ceramic Painting! We can't wait to see everyone's creativity shine once again.

🎶✨ Spinning Back in Time! ✨🎶

On Wednesday, we celebrated National Vinyl Record Day by taking a little trip down memory lane!

Our Dominoes Group enjoyed an afternoon of friendly competition while listening to the classic sounds of a record player and some of our residents' favorite records. There's just something special about hearing music the way it was meant to be enjoyed—on vinyl! 🎵❤️

Good music, good company, and a little dominoes made for a wonderful afternoon at Capstone Station Camp!

📣Volunteers Wanted! ❤️

Capstone Station Camp Senior Living is looking for compassionate individuals, churches, schools, community organizations, musicians, and hobbyists who would like to share their time and talents with our residents.

We're looking for volunteers who would enjoy:
• Leading a Bible study or devotional
• Performing music or singing
• Teaching a craft or hobby
• Playing games or cards
• Reading aloud
• Gardening with residents
• Leading an exercise or wellness activity
• Visiting one-on-one or spending time socializing
• Sharing a special talent, skill, or interest

Whether you can visit once or become a regular part of our community, your time can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. We are happy to work with you to coordinate a date and time that fits your schedule and can provide space and assist with gathering supplies needed for your activity whenever possible.
