Compass Peds This is the official page for Compass Pediatrics, located in Gallatin, TN

✨ If you are new here, or even if you are not, we want to welcome you to Compass Pediatrics and share a little bit about who we are!

✨ Compass Pediatrics was started and opened its doors to serve the Middle Tennessee area in 2019 by Dr. Scott Huitink. It is our passion and mission to Serve, Educate and Advocate for our patients and community!

✨ If you are interested in becoming a new patient at our clinic, we are happy to help you! We accept most major insurances, but if you are unsure if we are in- network with your policy then give your insurance company a call to confirm!

✨ It is our policy to follow the immunization schedule recommended by the AAP. In addition to the risk vaccine-preventable diseases create for other children, we do not believe there is a healthy opportunity to assist in a child’s health and well-being if there is an antagonistic foundation toward our expertise and experience. We have elected not to develop or maintain professional medical relationships with those who reject our immunization policy.

Kara is a Certified Medical Assistant with 18 years of pediatric experience and a busy mom of two. She has been a valued member of the Compass Pediatrics team for four years, bringing both expertise and real-life mom perspective to every visit!

She has a heart for helping families and feels called to care for little ones while supporting parents every step of the way. She also loves being part of a team that lives out its faith, mission, and values daily.

Outside of the clinic, you’ll find her spending time with her family, making beach memories, cheering on her daughter at horse shows, and watching her son play football.

If you’re noticing concerns with your child’s grades, focus, behavior, or how they’re adjusting at school, it may be a good time to check in with us. These changes can sometimes be connected to ADHD, anxiety, or other challenges that may need a little extra support.
