Take and make kits are now available at the Bossard Memorial Library!

Our August Take & Make Craft Kit is now available.

Stop by and pick up your Fall yarn and bead garland today.

The kits will be available on a first come first serve basis, While Supplies Last.

To give everyone a chance to create the craft, Please Only 1 Craft Kit Per Adult.

Each kit comes with the materials needed to create the craft plus step-by-step instructions.

Please note: Check the materials list on the instruction sheet to see if you are missing anything on the list. If so, contact the Library and we will have the missing items available for you to pick up.

The craft kits will be on the counter in the Atrium and will be available to be picked up starting Thursday, August 6, 2026 during our regular operating hours.

We would love to see your completed project and hear whether you enjoyed the craft. Feel free to send us a photo and/or e-mail ([email protected]), or comment on our Facebook post.

🍀Best of luck to all the incredible exhibitors as fair week gets underway! Your months of dedication, early mornings, and tireless hard work are finally taking center stage in the show ring and barns!

Whether you are stepping into the ring for the very first time, preparing your projects for the judges, or showcasing your livestock, remember to enjoy every single moment. The ribbons and banners are a wonderful bonus, but the lifelong memories, great sportsmanship, and values you build along the way are what truly last a lifetime.

Here are a few quick reminders to help you and your community have a successful week:

🍀Stay hydrated and cool during hot afternoons. The Holzer Health System Camper is there all week to pass out water, fans and more!

🍀Double-check your show schedules and rulebooks. Our Gallia County Fair Board and Youth Board are always happy to help!

🍀Support your fellow exhibitors and celebrate each other's successes. This is key to creating a stronger future for our fair and community ❤️

🍀Take time to thank the volunteers, parents, buyers, and fair board helping behind the scenes happen. Lots of our Gallia County Chamber of Commerce members will be there this week to support the big sale day!

Chamber Members working together for the better ❤️

The Gallipolis City School District is proud to announce that Ohio Valley Bank has generously donated an additional $25,000 toward the Gallia Academy High School Stadium Project, reaffirming its longstanding commitment to our students and the community.
