This Pride Month, Family Empowerment Group recognizes and celebrates the diversity of the communities we serve.

We are committed to fostering an environment where individuals and families feel respected, supported, and empowered to access the care they need. As a behavioral health organization, we understand the importance of creating spaces that promote well-being, understanding, and connection.

We are proud to support our clients, staff, and community members this month and throughout the year.

Happy Pride Month! 🌈

💙 June is Men’s Mental Health Month 💙
Strength isn’t about carrying everything alone. It’s about knowing when to reach out, speak up, and ask for support.

Men often face pressure to stay silent about their struggles, but mental health matters for everyone. Seeking help is a sign of courage, self-awareness, and resilience. Whether it’s talking to a trusted friend, family member, counselor, or support group, taking that first step can make a difference.

This month, let’s continue breaking the stigma and encouraging the men in our lives to prioritize their mental well-being. You do not have to face challenges alone. 💙

From sharing resources to connecting with community members, this event was a great opportunity to spread awareness about the services and supports available throughout our community. We are grateful for opportunities to collaborate, educate, and make meaningful connections that help individuals and families thrive.

💙 Counselor Elizabeth Christopher represented the Family Empowerment Group while tabling at the Pinwheels for Prevention event in recognition of National Child Abuse Prevention Month. This important community event brought together organizations across Atlantic and Cape May Counties to raise awareness, support children and families, and promote positive childhood experiences. We are proud to stand alongside other community partners in supporting prevention, education, and access to resources for families in our community. 🧩🩵🌱

Motherhood is one of the most beautiful roles… and one of the most demanding. 🌷

This month is Maternal Mental Health Month—a reminder that behind every strong mom is a real human being who gets tired, overwhelmed, anxious, and sometimes just needs a moment to breathe.

You don’t have to have it all together.
You don’t have to carry everything on your own.
And you don’t have to wait until you’re at your breaking point to ask for support.

Taking care of your mental health is not selfish—it’s essential 🤍
When you take care of yourself, you’re better able to show up for the people you love.

If you’ve been feeling stretched thin lately, let this be your reminder to slow down, check in with yourself, and take even one small step toward caring for you today. 💗

Support is here when you need it.

Celebrating the love, care, and dedication of the amazing mothers within our Family Empowerment team 💐💙

This week at Boys & Girls Club, our youth had the opportunity to decorate flower pots and celebrate the important women in their lives 🌸🪴🐝

Thank you to all of the mothers, mother figures, and caregivers who continue to make a difference both at home and within our community. Your impact does not go unnoticed 💙✨

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at The Family Empowerment Group 💐

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💙

A time to slow down and really check in with yourself, not just how you’re doing on the outside, but how you’re really feeling.

Life moves fast, and it’s easy to push things down, stay busy, and tell yourself you’ll deal with it later. But your mental health deserves attention, care, and space, right now, not just when things feel overwhelming.

Taking care of your mental health can look different for everyone. Maybe it’s setting boundaries, getting more rest, talking to someone, or simply giving yourself permission to not have it all together.

Whatever this season looks like for you, you are not alone. There is support, there is help, and there is hope 🤍

If you or someone you love needs support, we’re here for you.

The way we talk to children becomes the way they learn to talk to themselves 💙🧠

Small shifts in language can make a big difference in how children understand their emotions, build confidence, and feel supported 💙✨

It is not about perfection. It is about connection, consistency, and intention 💙🤝

What we say matters. How we say it matters even more 💙🗣️
