My PhD graduation was surreal! I couldn't have done it without the support of my family, friends, mentors, professors, patients, students and loved ones through this journey. I hope that that what I accomplished in this program has an impact for years to come. I plan to continue to build on my research as well as continue working as a therapist and a professor. My dream is to help enrich the people I encounter in positive ways and I hope my influence plays a role in who they become.

I would like to thank my parents in particular. Mommy, thank you for always being there. You're the best. Daddy, I know you were here in spirit. I love you. Thank you for everything ❤️🎓
