In Loving Memory of Dr. Randy Bowling, OD (1946–2026)
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Dr. Randy Bowling, who left us on August 13, 2026, in Lawrence, KS, at the age of 80.
Dr. Bowling was one of the original partners of our practice, helping lay the foundation that our current doctors were proud to build upon when they joined. He will be remembered for his quick wit, his impeccable style, and — above all — the genuine care he brought to every patient who sat in his chair. Anyone who knew him also knew his love for KU ran deep, through and through.
His legacy lives on in the practice he helped build and in the countless patients and colleagues whose lives he touched along the way. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, per the family's wishes. Our thoughts are with his loved ones during this difficult time.
