Lateral epicondylitis is a condition that affects the wrist extensor tendons where they attach on the outside of the elbow. It can make everyday tasks such as lifting, gripping, and twisting uncomfortable.

Conservative management strategies used in hand therapy include activity modification, therapeutic exercises (stretching and strengthening), and counterforce bracing when it is recommended.
