Instructor Toni Martin RN taught this spring CNA cohort in Scott City. Students were a combination of SCHS, public SC, and Dighton High School students. In addition to learning clinical skills, the students were able to assist residents with their fun 🤩 activities during National Nursing Home Week. Some of these activities included playing Bingo, and assisting with “fishing day”. Some of the students were even kind enough to bait some 🪝 hooks. 🐠 🐟 🎣

The GCHS Certified Nurse Aide cohort is strolling around GCCC campus on this beautiful day learning how to ambulate residents with special devices on their first day of lab. They gave President Dr. Ruda, VP Colin Lamb, and Dean Tammy Tabor some tips on ambulating too.
