"I thought spine surgery meant 3 months off work." This is the number one thing I hear. And for a long time, that fear made sense. But spine surgery has changed, and most people don't know it yet. Swipe to learn more!

If you have been living with back pain after trying everything else, you do not have to keep waiting. A consultation is the first step toward understanding what is actually possible for you.

Pain has a way of stealing your life slowly. First, it's the thing you can't do anymore. Then it's the thing you stop showing up for. Then it becomes something you just live around.

You don't have to live around it. Recovery starts with a real conversation, one where someone actually listens, orders the right imaging, and builds a plan around your goals. Not a one-size-fits-all protocol. Your body, your timeline, your life.

This is the kind of feedback that means everything. Not because it's a compliment, but because it reflects exactly what this practice is built to be: a place where people feel genuinely cared for, not just treated.

If you're not sure surgery is right for you, or you've been told it is and you're not ready to commit, let's talk. I always start with the least invasive option. Always.

Most people wait 3 or more weeks just to see their surgeon. Then another week for imaging. Then another appointment to go over the results.

That's not care. That's a waiting game, and it costs you time, income, and peace of mind.

Core Alliance was built differently. Evening and weekend appointments. Virtual consults to get you started faster. Aggressive authorization follow-up to prevent imaging delays from becoming diagnosis delays. And you will always see me directly, not a rotating team, not a PA, not someone you've never met.

Hi, I'm Dr. Aron Rovner, and my job is to find every non-surgical path before anything else is even on the table.

That might sound strange. But the truth is, most people who walk into my office have already been told surgery is their only option. My job is to find every non-surgical path first and to make sure you understand all of them before anything else is even discussed.

Board-certified. Fellowship-trained. Spine, shoulder, and knee. And most of my patients never see an operating room.

If you've been told surgery is the only answer, you deserve a second opinion from someone who will actually look for another way.

Sleeping is often the hardest part of recovery after rotator cuff surgery.
The repair has to be protected while it heals, which is why patients are typically instructed to sleep on their back with the sling on for the first 4โ€“6 weeks. Sleeping on the stomach or letting the arm fall to the side can place too much stress on the repair.

One simple tip that helps many patients: place a pillow under the elbow to reduce tension on the shoulder and improve comfort at night.
Protecting the repair early is one of the biggest factors in a successful recovery.

If your knee feels like itโ€™s constantly catching, locking, or getting stuck, it may not just be inflammation.

After a meniscus injury or repeated knee trauma, torn cartilage and inflamed tissue can become trapped inside the joint, causing pain and mechanical catching with movement.

In some cases, knee arthroscopy can treat the problem through minimally invasive surgery using small incisions and a camera โ€” helping restore smoother motion, reduce pain, and improve knee function.

If knee pain or instability isnโ€™t improving, it may be time to get it evaluated.

The top 3 mistakes:
1. Ignoring the rehab protocol
2. Skipping or delaying physical therapy
3. Missing follow-up appointments

ACL recovery requires the right balance of protection, motion, and strengthening. Following the rehab plan step-by-step is what helps restore stability, reduce swelling, and safely return patients to activity.
Recovery is a process โ€” but doing the small things correctly makes a major difference in the final outcome.
