My name is Shatera.
I’m gonna do better about letting you in.
About showing you who I am.

I guess I was waiting for the perfect picture to post. Of a better me.

A me who’s plant-based (I had my mama’s potato salad for breakfast last week)
Who has a flat stomach and can do headstands and splits (not even close)
A me who meditates and drinks 100oz of water daily (I’ve haven’t done either in over a month)

Maybe we’ll both meet her one day. But today, all I have to post- is me.
I had to be reminded that that’s more than enough.

So I chose this picture instead.
“Just” me. & my bushy brows.
Without my smile. (It’s my armor. But that’s a post or a poem for another time)
