What a Fun and Festive Afternoon!
Our residents came together for a lively Mexican Independence Day Happy Hour while also giving a warm welcome to our newest resident, Maria from Mexico!
The afternoon was filled with music, dancing, laughter, delicious food, and wonderful memories shared together.
Everyone enjoyed a delicious selection of Mexican-inspired finger foods, including quesadillas and taquitos, as we celebrated the joy of community and togetherness.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make our Happy Hour such a memorable and special occasion! We are so happy to welcome Maria and celebrate these beautiful moments together.

Sock Hop Fun!
What a blast at our Sock Hop Party! Our residents enjoyed lots of dancing, delicious food, great music, and plenty of fun and laughter!
From toe-tapping tunes to dancing with friends, everyone had a wonderful time stepping back into the good old days and making new memories together.
Nothing beats seeing our residents smiling, dancing, and enjoying every moment!
Good food + great music + dancing + wonderful company = a perfect Sock Hop!

A Beautiful Success Story: Hazel’s Memories of Hawaii
With the help of our IN2L technology, Hazel was able to reminisce through pictures of Hawaii and share beautiful memories from her past—including the special story of how she met her husband.
Using our Eversound technology, Hazel was able to communicate loud and clear with our residents, allowing everyone to hear and enjoy her wonderful story. Her memories inspired our other residents to listen, engage, and share their own stories.

A Story Woven with Love, Artistry & Alpacas
Marianne is a true Renaissance woman, weaving art and love from the very creatures she lovingly raised. For more than a decade, she bred and cared for alpacas, transforming their beautiful, sheared fleece into exquisite, hand-spun yarn.
Through the meticulous process of combing, spinning, and creating, Marianne turned the soft alpaca fiber into luxurious yarn. With her talented hands, she crafted beautiful knitted and crocheted pieces—each one reflecting her creativity, patience, and dedication.
One especially meaningful creation is the beautiful cardigan pictured here, which Marianne lovingly made and gifted to her daughter. It is more than just a sweater—it is a cherished keepsake carrying the warmth of a mother’s hands, her artistry, and the story of the alpacas she cared for.
Whether her creations were sold at her ranch or lovingly gifted to family and friends, each piece carried a little piece of Marianne’s heart.
A beautiful reminder that when passion meets creativity, even the simplest materials can become something truly extraordinary.

Success Story: Our Partnership with the NOCE Emeritus Program
Our partnership with the NOCE Emeritus Program has brought so much joy, creativity, and meaningful engagement to our residents. Through the arts and crafts and artistic expression classes provided by the NOCE educators, our residents have discovered opportunities to express themselves, explore their creativity, and create something they can be proud of.
The impact is especially meaningful for our memory care residents. Their excitement and eagerness to attend each class says so much about how much they enjoy the program. They look forward to the NOCE instructors’ visits and are always ready to take part and explore new creative activities.
The video we are sharing truly captures what words cannot fully express—the residents’ smiles, enthusiasm, fondness for their artwork, and pride in their creative projects. Their participation has also brought a wonderful energy to our entire community.
We are especially grateful for the kindness, friendliness, patience, and compassion shown by all the NOCE instructors. They take the time to connect with each resident, meet them where they are, and encourage them to take part at their own pace.
The NOCE Emeritus Program has become something our residents genuinely look forward to, and we are thankful for the positive impact it continues to have on their lives and on our community.

Celebrating Terri’s Creative Journey
Terri graduated from FIDM in 1980 and worked in the garment industry as a talented pattern maker and seamstress. She even designed her own line of jackets!
After her special-needs daughter was born, Terri devoted her time to caring for her. Later, she discovered a new passion for faux painting, stenciling, and Trompe-l'œil. Her love for art continued after taking an art class, inspiring her to create beautiful paintings.
Today, Terri continues to share her creativity through her artwork. The painting featured here is a reproduction of another artist’s work, displaying her wonderful talent and appreciation for art in her room.

We are so happy to celebrate Terri’s creativity, talent, and inspiring story!

We had another amazing visit with Rocket,Chase, and Ruby from the Alliance of Therapy Dogs!
Their sweet personalities, gentle cuddles, and unconditional love brought so many smiles and happy moments to our residents. We are always so grateful for these special visits and the joy they bring to our community!
