💜 Today we honor Dr. L Jeanette Tatum! 💜

Affectionately known as “Dr. J,” she was a true pioneer and passionate advocate for individuals with disabilities.

In 1996, Dr. J founded Helping Hands for Better Living, establishing Orange County’s first Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) center dedicated to providing medical services and community based adult services (CBAS) to adults with developmental disabilities who have complex and significant medical needs.

A tireless crusader for those with disabilities, Dr. J has devoted her career to creating compassionate, specialized care and opportunities that empower individuals and improve their quality of life. Dr. J - We miss you everyday and are forever grateful for you.

Summer Travel to Hawaii!

🌺We wrapped up our Summer Travel Series to Hawaii 🌺Participants enjoyed “Hawaiian Shirt” day with some festive music and frozen treats 🎼

Led by Activities Staff, Mr. Mark and Erica, June’s educational programs included learning about Hawaiian culture, food, beautiful landscape, and of course entertainment!
