May is Speech Language and Hearing Month 💙🗣️

As a pediatric OT, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with some truly amazing pediatric speech therapists in our community. Speech therapists play such an important role in helping children build communication, feeding, social interaction, confidence, and so many other important skills.

I wanted to take a moment to recognize and appreciate these wonderful providers and also share them as resources for families who may be looking for speech therapy services for their child. 💫

Cardboard Maze Fun!

This is a simple cardboard maze to turn movement into meaningful skill-building! Kids crawled, pushed cars, and even used a laser to navigate the maze in fun, creative ways.

Becoming a mother transformed me in so many ways, as a woman, a person, and an occupational therapist. 💫

Motherhood gave me a deeper understanding of the emotions, worries, hopes, and daily challenges parents carry. It taught me to see every child not just through clinical eyes, but through a mother’s heart.

As a pediatric OT, I’ve always loved helping children grow, but becoming a mom helped me better understand how important connection, patience, regulation, play, and emotional support truly are in a child’s development.
It has made me more compassionate, more intentional, and even more passionate about helping families and empowering parents along the way. 💜

Being a mom is one of my greatest blessings, and it continues to shape the way I care for every child and family I work with at Infinity & Beyond Kidz.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms, especially the wonderful moms of the children I have the privilege to work with. Thank you for your love, strength, advocacy, and trust. The work you do every single day matters more than you know.

The vestibular system is one of the most powerful systems for a child’s development. 🧠

It plays a huge role in balance, coordination, posture, attention, body awareness, emotional regulation, visual skills, and even a child’s ability to feel safe and organized in their body.

When this system is not processing efficiently, children may struggle with focus, regulation, motor skills, or everyday activities.
