Happy Retirement, Liz! 🌟

Today we celebrate Liz and recognize her many years of dedication, hard work, and commitment to Pathway House.

Since joining us, Liz’s role has evolved alongside the program, taking on new responsibilities and adapting to the changing needs of Pathway House. Through all of those changes, one thing has remained constant—Liz has been a familiar and welcoming face at the door.

Whether you were a visitor coming in for the first time, an employee arriving for work, or a resident starting another day in the program, you could count on Liz to greet you with a smile and a kind word. Those simple moments of connection may seem small, but they are an important part of creating the welcoming, supportive community that Pathway House strives to be.

Liz has brought compassion, consistency, humor, and genuine care to her work. She has been there for countless conversations, questions, busy days, and everything in between. Her presence has helped make Pathway House feel a little more welcoming for everyone who has walked through our doors.

We are truly grateful for Liz’s years of service and for everything she has contributed to Pathway House and the people we serve. Her hard work and dedication have made a lasting impact, and she will certainly be missed.

Please join us in wishing Liz a very happy, healthy, and well-deserved retirement! ❤️🎉

📢 Pathway House Alumni Cookout Update

Due to a scheduling conflict, the annual Pathway House Alumni Cookout will be postponed this year.

We know this event is a great opportunity for our alumni and current residents to celebrate and support one another. While we're disappointed to postpone it, we're hopeful we'll be able to reschedule.

If a new date is confirmed, we'll share the details with plenty of advance notice so everyone has time to plan.

Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing everyone soon!

🎓 AWOL #266 Graduation! 🎉

Congratulations to Eric F., Gary C., Timothy K., and Michael M. on completing AWOL #267 at Pathway House!

This group reflects what we aim for in everything we do at GAAMHA and Pathway House—showing up, staying engaged, and building real momentum through consistent effort and accountability.

There were meaningful conversations, honest reflection, and the kind of growth that doesn’t come from perfect attendance alone, but from people choosing to stay in it even when it’s uncomfortable. And at least one moment where someone said they “didn’t have much to say”… and then proceeded to cover every major life theme in about 18 minutes.

A special thank you to alumni member Paul W. for co-facilitating and bringing lived experience back into the room. That peer connection is a big part of what makes this work real—people supporting people, grounded in shared accountability and real impact.

At GAAMHA, we believe in dignity, community integration, and real outcomes. This group is a great example of that in action.

We know we've missed a few months, so if you're alumni and you've celebrated a recovery anniversary or stopped by to pick up a medallion in 2026 and don't see your name here, drop your milestone in the comments so we can celebrate with you! 🎉

Congratulations on these incredible milestones!

🌭🍔 Pathway House Annual Alumni Cookout 🍔🌭

Dust off your lawn chairs, stretch those burger-flipping muscles, and come join us for our annual Pathway House Alumni Cookout!

📅 August 2nd
🕐 1:00 PM
📍 171 Graham Street

We'll have burgers, hot dogs, good food, good company, and plenty of stories that get slightly more dramatic every time they're told.

Whether you've been gone for a few months or a few years, we'd love to see you. Come reconnect with old friends, meet current residents, and remind everyone that recovery is possible—and that nobody cooks a hot dog quite like the Pathway House.

No speeches. No homework. Just food, fellowship, and a chance to catch up.

We hope to see you there!
