🇺🇸 Kicking Off Labor Day Weekend at The Chateau! 🇺🇸

Today we gathered for a rustic BBQ to kick off our Labor Day celebrations…complete with delicious BBQ, great company, and live music from Acoustic Solutions! 🎶🤎

Labor Day is a time to honor the hard work, dedication, and contributions of generations of Americans…..something that feels especially meaningful in a community filled with residents who have spent a lifetime working, building, serving, raising families, and helping shape the world around us.

Today, we celebrate them. ❤️🇺🇸

Good food, live music, laughter, and a beautiful afternoon together — the perfect way to begin the holiday weekend at The Chateau at Gardnerville!

🦌 Looks like we have some new residents at The Chateau! 🦌

And apparently, they heard we’re the best place in the Carson Valley to retire. 😉😂

These three handsome gentlemen have been making themselves right at home in our backyard …and judging by the size of those antlers, they’ve definitely become the talk of the community!

One of the things we love most about life at The Chateau is the beautiful wildlife that comes right to our backyard. Our residents have certainly been enjoying the view!

🌺🎶 What an incredible evening! 🎶🌺

Yesterday, we were treated to an amazing performance by the Carson Valley Ukulele Group ! 🪕 Their music was wonderful, but the fun didn’t stop there—they were joined by beautiful dancers who truly brought the spirit of a Luau to life! 🌴💃🕺

The entire show was fun, playful, colorful, and wonderfully engaging. From the music to the dancing, there was something to make everyone smile and feel like part of the celebration. 🌺😊

A huge thank-you to everyone who helped make this such a memorable experience. What a fantastic way to spend an evening together! 💕🌴

What a wonderful day at The Chateau! Our team and residents had so much fun dressing up for Disneyland Day and enjoying delicious treats prepared by our amazing Dining Team. 🍰🎀
A big thank you to Saint Mary’s Hospice for hosting a Dementia Live Training for our team! 💜 We truly appreciate your support, partnership, and dedication to helping us provide the best care possible for our residents. Thank you for all you do! 👏

We also had a special moment during our all-staff meeting as we recognized Chante as a new Mentor! 🌟 Her hard work, dedication, and willingness to always go above and beyond for our residents and coworkers truly make a difference.

Congratulations, Chante! We are so proud of you! Keep up the amazing work! 👏💜✨

🏈🖤Friday Night Lights & Tiger Pride! 🧡🏈

Our residents at The Chateau at Gardnerville had an amazing time cheering on our local high school football team for their opening game! From great football and exciting plays to plenty of laughs, smiles, and unforgettable memories, it was a night to remember. 🐯✨

We’re so proud to support our local community and our Douglas Tigers! This definitely won’t be our last game—we’re already excited for the rest of the season! 🙌

🕰️✨ What if you could step back in time for an afternoon?

Today at The Chateau at Gardnerville, our residents did just that! 🎶🍬 From the fabulous ’50s all the way through the ’90s, we took a fun-filled Trip Through the Decades—complete with music, delicious food, games, classic candy, and toys that brought back some wonderful memories. ❤️

There were smiles, stories, laughs, and plenty of “Oh, I remember that!” moments along the way. 🥰
