At The Chateau at Gardnerville, we’re grateful for the men and women who serve and protect our community. It was a pleasure to slow down, share a meal, and connect beyond the urgency of their work. Our residents loved getting to know the people behind the uniforms and sharing stories together.

These moments remind us that behind every badge is a person with a true heart for service. Seeing our residents express their gratitude face-to-face made it especially meaningful.

🎉💙 What a fantastic Father’s Day celebration! 💙🎉

Today, our residents enjoyed a day filled with great food, wonderful company, and plenty of fun. We feasted on delicious ribs, potato salad, fresh fruit, and baked beans before heading outside to enjoy a special community classic car show! 🚗✨

The beautiful classic cars brought smiles, memories, and lots of great conversations. To top it all off, we enjoyed live music that had everyone tapping their toes and singing along. 🎶🎤

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us and helped make this day so special. We are grateful to our community members who shared their amazing cars and to all who came out to celebrate the incredible fathers in our lives.

Happy Father’s Day to all of our wonderful dads—we hope your day was as amazing as you are! 💙👔

As we celebrate the Summer Solstice this Sunday, we also take time to recognize and honor the millions of individuals and families whose lives have been touched by Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

Each year, our community proudly opens its doors for our Annual Summer Solstice Carnival, 🎡 bringing together residents, families, caregivers, and friends in a day filled with joy, connection, and meaningful moments. This special event serves as a reminder that while the journey of dementia can be challenging, there is still room for laughter, love, and celebration.

We enjoyed live music, great food, fun carnival activities, and delicious treats lovingly prepared by Jill Creative Cake- Sugar Dealer. 🧁 Most importantly, we came together to honor those living with Alzheimer’s disease and the dedicated caregivers who support them every day with compassion, patience, and strength.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this day so special. Together, we celebrate life, create memories, and support one another through every season.💜

🇺🇸✨ What a wonderful day celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary! ✨🇺🇸

Our residents kicked off the morning with delicious doughnuts, great company, and beautiful weather before heading out to enjoy the parade. There were plenty of smiles as everyone sang along, waved to participants, and watched the exciting procession of floats, trucks, and classic cars pass by.

The community spirit, patriotic pride, and joyful atmosphere made for a memorable day filled with laughter and fun. We are so grateful for opportunities like these that bring everyone together to celebrate and create lasting memories! ❤️🤍💙

What better way to kick off the Carson Valley Days celebration than by not only sponsoring the event but also participating in it! 🎉⛳

Our very own Executive Director and team proudly represented our community at the 22nd Annual Golf Tournament – Fairways of Freedom, celebrating 250 years of freedom! 🇺🇸
We had a fantastic time connecting with community members, building relationships, and enjoying a wonderful day on the course. We are proud to support and be part of such a great community event.

Our Connections residents had a fun and educational day yesterday!
🏛️✨ We enjoyed a visit to the Genoa Museum & Archives, where we learned about local history and explored fascinating exhibits. We topped off the day with a stop at The Patio in DST Coffee for some delicious ice cream! 🍦😋

A wonderful day filled with learning, laughter, and sweet treats!
