Meet Dr. Ylicia Richards, MD 🩺❤️
Owner & Founder of Pediatrics at Murphy Road!

We’re excited to introduce Dr. Ylicia Richards, a board-certified pediatrician bringing more than 30 years of experience caring for children and families across the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

A proud Texas native, Dr. Richards is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and UT Southwestern Medical School. Her passion for pediatrics goes beyond medicine, she truly values building meaningful relationships with children and their families while helping each child grow, thrive, and stay healthy. 🧸✨

When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Richards enjoys spending time with her son and family, staying active in her community and church, and genealogy research.

🌡️ FEVER FACTS: What Parents Should Know!

A fever can be concerning, but it’s often the body’s natural response to fighting an infection. Knowing what to watch for can help you feel more prepared. 💙

Remember: 100.4°F (38°C) or higher is generally considered a fever, and age, symptoms, hydration, and how your child is acting all matter.

👶 Important: Babies under 3 months with a temperature of 100.4°F (38°C) or higher should receive prompt medical evaluation.

💧 Keep them hydrated.
🌡️ Monitor their temperature and symptoms.
👀 Pay attention to how they’re acting.
📞 When in doubt, contact your pediatrician.
