Hills & Valleys: A Healing Place Genesis 50:20 🦋 We are a place of refuge for those seeking a safe place to heal and grow.

We provide needs for young adults and women in Johnston County to help them succeed in healing and moving forward in life, to teach them who they are in Christ, and to be successful members of the community. We believe if you can learn your God-given identity, your whole life can change! Mission Statement: “ To provide a safe place to heal and grow.”

Genesis 50:20 : You intended to harm me, but

Our Story:
The Lord laid a vision on Tasha’s heart in 2021 to help walk other’s through healing and restoration. This vision was birthed out of her own pain as a trauma survivor of childhood sexual and physical abuse.

Let’s get coffee ☕️ and talk about Jesus!

Come join us at one of our favorite ministries here at H&V, Jesus & Coffee this Wednesday at 10am. Open to all ladies! Teens and older!

It’s not your typical Bible study. It’s where we gather together to seek the Lord without an agenda, without curriculum, and we pray for one another. We hold each other’s arms up. We fight for one another. We allow Holy Spirit to have His way with no time crunch. It’s church ⛪️ for women.

Each time we gather it’s something new. Don’t worry if you’ve never been or missed any. You’re welcome anytime and are not obligated to attend them all. You can leave anytime you need to. We understand people need to work or get to appointments. We just want to offer you a safe space to truly come as you are. We hope to see you soon!

It’s not just anger….

Next time you feel angry, ask yourself what’s underneath the surface.

What made you angry?
Why did it make you angry?
Where did you feel it in your body?

Uncovering it and putting words to the anger will help diffuse it little by little. What’s the root? Speak to it. Don’t let it own you. Call it out and then speak truth over yourself or the situation. Text a friend and talk about it.

You are allowed to feel angry, just don’t allow it to take you over.

✨As a Certified Brain Health and Neuroscience Coach, I will help clients understand that lasting transformation involves both spiritual formation and brain health. The reason is that lasting change doesn't happen through willpower alone. ✝️Isaiah 26:3 offers this promise:
"You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.

It does not replace the work of the Holy Spirit or the authority of Scripture; rather, it complements them by providing practical, evidence-informed strategies that align with biblical truth.

If you’ve heard me speak of H&V before, then you’ve heard me talk about this butterfly 🦋 notebook. It has my notes in it all the way back to 2023! I’ve documented so much in this book.

I started a new notebook for a new chapter in our ministry. God keeps writing our story. The first page of this book starts off special with some great stories of how He has been orchestrating things for our first Trauma Redemption Home. 🏠

I will begin to share more about these with some videos next week! Can’t wait to share more!

This Thursday at 6:30pm!! Don’t worry if you can’t make it! Join us next month!

💍 Something new is coming to H&V! We believe that part of healing the family is building a healthy marriage.

❤️ Starting July 23rd at 6:30pm we will be offering a free marriage gathering! These will be held once a month, so there’s no pressure of weekly meetings.

Let’s Talk Marriage Gatherings are open to couples looking to grow biblically in their marriage, looking to heal in their marriage, and to gather and celebrate marriage together as believers in Christ. Whether you’re newly married or have been married 60+ years, this is for you!

Pastor Louie and his wife Sally are both seasoned and wise in this area and will be leading this group. We can’t wait to see what God does!

All you need is a Bible and notebook, and each other. 📓 We have Bibles if you don’t. 💕
