POV: You can carry 47 grocery bags in one trip...
But a sneeze still keeps you humble.

Strength isn't the problem.

Your body may just need a different strategy. 😱

Maybe motherhood isn’t harder because we’re doing it wrong.

Maybe motherhood is harder because we were never supposed to do this much of it alone.

We’re raising babies without the village generations before us relied on.

We’re working.
Managing homes.
Keeping track of appointments, school schedules, groceries, laundry, activities, meals and approximately 4,782 tiny things nobody else seems to know need to happen. 😅

And somewhere in there, we’re supposed to take care of ourselves too.

Then comes the guilt.
Guilt when we’re working because we want to be with our kids.
Guilt when we’re with our kids because there’s work waiting.
Guilt because sometimes we genuinely LOVE our work—and admitting that can somehow feel like admitting we love motherhood less.

We don’t. We’re just whole human beings.

We can desperately miss our babies AND feel called to something outside of motherhood.

Maybe women don't need another person telling us to “soak it all in.”

Maybe we need more people saying:

**This IS hard.
You were never meant to carry all of it alone.
And wanting more support doesn’t mean you’re failing.**

So let’s talk about it.

Moms—what would make motherhood feel a little less heavy
for you right now? 👇

Nobody really prepares you for this part.

The part where you love your babies so much it physically hurts to leave them…

but you also love what you do.

You worked hard for your degree. You built a career. You found something that lights you up and gives you purpose outside of motherhood.

And somehow, we’ve made women feel guilty for admitting that.

You’re allowed to miss your babies while you’re at work.
You’re allowed to miss your work while you’re home.
You’re allowed to want both.

Maybe the answer isn’t telling moms to “just enjoy every minute” or “you got this.”

Maybe it’s admitting that doing both is really freaking hard—and asking how we can better support each other through it.

So, moms… tell me the truth.

What was the hardest part about going back to work after having a baby? 👇😱

Can we talk about how low the bar is for women's health?
Somewhere along the way, women started accepting things they were never meant to just "live with."

Peeing when you sneeze.
Pain with s*x.
A back that hurts every day.
Feeling pressure "down there."
Avoiding jumping, running, or playing with your kids.
Assuming your core is gone forever.

And almost every time someone finally brings it up, they tell me:

"I thought that was normal."

It's common.
I see it every week.

But common and normal are not the same thing.

You deserve better than crossing your fingers every time you cough, sneeze, laugh, run, lift, or live your life.
✨ Common ≠ Normal.

As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, I spend my career helping humans build the strength, resilience, and mechanics to perform at their absolute peak. But tonight, my favorite title will be “Mom.” 🥹❤️

My oldest daughter, Parker, and her incredible JCLL 12U All-Star teammates are taking the field for the State Championship game. Some of them have been playing together since their T-ball and 8U days, and tonight they are chasing down a massive postseason goal: a ticket to the Little League World Series! 🌍🏆

I am so incredibly passionate about empowering girls & women in sports, and seeing these young athletes crush it on a stage this big is exactly what it’s all about.
Let’s pack the park and show these girls the ultimate community support!

📍 Where: Archer Lodge Town Park
⏰ When: Tonight at 7:30 PM
🧢 Wear: Your JCLL colors! (Grab a lawn chair, bleacher space is limited!)

🇺🇸 Happy Fourth of July.
While everyone’s celebrating America’s independence…
I’m over here wishing more women could celebrate their own.
✨ Independence from panty liners✨ Independence from crossing your legs every time you sneeze✨ Independence from mapping every bathroom
Because leaking isn’t something you just have to live with.
You deserve to trust your body again.

POV: You p*e a little and pretend it builds character.

It doesn't.
It builds laundry.

We don't do your laundry but we can help you stop p*eing every time you cough, snort, sneeze, or jump.

You get the idea.

Book your appointment.

A patient said something to me recently that stopped me in my tracks.
"Well... I've always leaked a little."
Then she shrugged and added,
"...and now I p*e during s*x, when I cough, and every time I step off a curb."

She wasn't joking. 😒
She genuinely thought this was just what happens after having babies.
And honestly? I hear versions of this story all the time.

Women are told:
"It's normal."🫤
🤱"Your body just changes."
"Welcome to motherhood."👶

👉So they adapt.

They wear liners.
They avoid jumping.
They cross their legs before they sneeze.
They stop doing things they love.

Not because it's normal.
Because nobody told them there was another option.

If you're leaking urine, whether it's a little or a lot, your body is trying to tell you something.
You deserve more than a shrug and a panty liner.

You deserve answers...And maybe a hug. 🤗

"The baby still doesn't sleep through the night."
"I haven't had a hot cup of coffee in years."
"I thought p*eing a little was normal."
"My husband doesn't understand why s*x hurts or why I p*e everywhere...every.time..."
"I don't remember the last time I did something for myself."
"My Mother-In-Law still doesn't understand why I ask the kids what color cup they want."
..Anyway, here's my shoulder pain.

Honestly?
That's pretty normal around here.

Pain during s*x is one of those things women whisper about.

They ask Google.
They ask their friends.
They wonder if it's because they had a baby.
Got older.
Need more wine.
Need to just "relax."

But here's the thing:
Pain during s*x is common.
-----
It's not normal.
-----
At TruPhysio, we help women get to the root cause.

Sometimes it's an overly tight pelvic floor.
Sometimes it's scar tissue from childbirth or surgery.
Sometimes it's weakness, pressure, hormonal changes, or muscle tension that's been building for years.

We don't just tell you to do Kegels and send you on your way.

We spend time listening.
We evaluate how your body moves.
We look at your core, hips, breathing patterns, posture, strength, and pelvic floor.

👉Then we create a plan that helps your body feel safe, strong, and capable again.🙌

Because intimacy shouldn't hurt. 🎆 It should be fire...🔥
You shouldn't have to brace yourself.
And you shouldn't have to accept pain as the price of being a woman.

Common? Yes.
Normal? No.
And there is help available.
DM us and we can get your eval scheduled.
