In this photo I was a senior in high school. I was 17 years old and it was taken around the first time I went to a chiropractor. The day after my first game of the season, I was in a lot of pain. I was limping, my hip hurt and I was stiff all over. I remember getting my first adjustment that Saturday morning and I IMMEDIATELY felt better. One adjustment! The power of one adjustment!

My hip didnt hurt anymore and I wasn’t limping. Also, I could stand taller, breathe better and I could turn my head fully both ways! Nobody had to convince me to come back. I told the chiropractor I would be back!! So, I started going to the chiropractor every single week after my football games.

In fact, that year was my only season of football that I stayed completely injury free. My recovery time after games was cut in half!! It used to take me 4 days to fully recover from all the hits. But, if I got adjusted on the weekend, by Monday, I already felt like I was ready to go. It helped my body and my performance tremendously. That is what made me want to become a chiropractor!

This is a very important x-ray that we take in our office. It is a seated lateral lumbar x-ray. There are 3 main things we look for in the spine on this view.

1. A 35 degree lumbar lordosis. (a C-shaped curvature)
2. Sacrum (tailbone) angled downward at 35 degrees
3. Thick healthy disc spaces between the bones.

What is this adjusting instrument and what does it do???

This powerful tool is called an ArthroStim! It is a world-renowned chiropractic tool.

It uses an oscillating impact at variable speeds to adjust the bones in the spine.

It is able to replace certain hands-on adjustments when needed, but even more importantly, it is used to move the bones in the spine in directions and speeds that our hands are not capable of!
