"My name is Mozell Barnes, and I was admitted to Aperion Care Tolleston Park on May 5, 2026 for short-term rehabilitation. I was not able to tour the facility myself before admission, so my brother, Michael, toured it on my behalf.
When he returned, he told me that he had met with the Admissions Director, Rhonda Harris, who guided him through the entire admission process. She thoroughly explained the rehabilitation program and answered all of his questions. After the tour, my brother felt confident that Aperion Care Tolleston Park would be the right place for me to receive my rehabilitation services.
When I arrived at the facility, I was brought in on a stretcher. Thanks to the outstanding care and therapy I received, I was able to walk out the door using my walker. Let me tell youโit felt wonderful to be back on my feet and walking on my own again.
I would like to thank the Dietary Department, Maintenance Department, CNAs, Nurses, and the entire North Unit team. Everyone encouraged me throughout my stay and treated me with kindness and respect. There were times when I didnโt want to come out of my room, but the staff continued to encourage me. The more I came out and interacted with others, the more I came out of my shell.
I would also like to give a special thank you to Miss Patty at the front desk. She welcomed everyone with a smile and was always helpful and pleasant.
I would highly recommend Aperion Care Tolleston Park to anyone in need of short-term rehabilitation or long-term care. The staff truly care about their residents and work hard to help them achieve their goals.
If I ever need rehabilitation or long-term care again, I would absolutely have my family bring me back to Aperion Care Tolleston Park.
Thank you all for everything you did for me. I will always be grateful for the care, encouragement, and support I received during my stay."
