If primary care is supposed to be simple… why have we made it so complicated?

I’ve never understood why seeing your own doctor has to involve so much red tape.

You should be able to see your doctor when you’re sick.
You should know what your care costs.
You should have enough time to actually talk about what’s going on.

And your relationship with your doctor should come first.

Instead, traditional primary care can leave patients dealing with copays, deductibles, prior authorizations, rushed visits, and long waits just to get basic care.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

That’s one of the reasons I believe so strongly in Direct Primary Care.
