Did you know most car seats aren't installed quite right? 🚗
Car seats save lives, but small mistakes are very common: straps too loose, the chest clip too low, or the seat moving too much in the car.
The good news: you can get your seat checked for FREE by a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician.
🔎 Find a check near you:
• Search "car seat inspection" on the NHTSA website (nhtsa.gov)
• Look up a check event through Safe Kids (safekids.org)
• Call your local fire department or police station to ask if they offer checks (call ahead!)
Quick safety reminders:
✔️ Keep baby rear-facing as long as possible, until they reach the seat's height or weight limit
✔️ Harness straps snug: you shouldn't be able to pinch extra strap at the shoulder
✔️ Chest clip at armpit level
✔️ No bulky coats under the straps

Going back to work while breastfeeding? Here's a simple starter plan. 💼🍼
📅 2–4 weeks before you return: Start pumping once a day (often after the first morning feed) to build a small freezer stash. You don't need a huge supply. A few days' worth is plenty.
🍼 Introduce a bottle: Let another caregiver offer it a few times so baby gets used to it.
⏰ At work: Plan to pump about as often as baby would eat, usually every 3 hours.
⚖️ Know your rights: Under the federal PUMP Act, most employees have the right to reasonable break time and a private space that is not a bathroom to pump for up to one year after birth.
🗣️ Talk to your employer early about where and when you'll pump. A plan makes the first week much easier.

How to prep for your 3D/4D ultrasound session 💧
A few simple steps can help you get the clearest pictures of your baby:
💧 Hydrate for several days before. Drinking plenty of water in the days leading up to your session helps keep the amniotic fluid clear, which improves 3D image quality.
🍽️ Eat a normal meal. A regular snack or meal before your visit is great. No need for sugary drinks or candy.
👕 Wear a two-piece outfit so we can easily reach your belly.
👨‍👩‍👧 Plan your guests ahead of time so everyone can see the screen and enjoy the moment.
🚶‍♀️ If baby is shy, a short walk or changing positions can encourage them to turn.
And remember, babies have their own plans! 😄 Some days they cover their face with hands, feet or the umbilical cord. That's part of the fun.

Sweet, sleepy, and oh-so-kissable 💛

This is a RealView: a 3D/4D ultrasound image that's been artistically enhanced into a lifelike portrait of baby's face. RealViews are emailed to you as a digital keepsake 3–5 days after your scan, so you can share them, frame them, or just gaze at those little features as often as you like.

A little tip from our studio: hydration really helps! Drinking plenty of water in the days leading up to your 3D/4D session can support clearer images, since amniotic fluid plays a big part in what we're able to see. Baby's position matters too, and sometimes baby has their own plans, which is part of the fun.

Just a reminder: a RealView is a keepsake, not a diagnostic image. It's all about bonding and celebrating your little one before they arrive.

Pregnancy Week by Week: Week 6 🫛
👶 Baby is about the size of a lentil or sweet pea, roughly 1/4 inch long.
💓 The heart is beating fast, and on an early ultrasound a flicker may be seen around this time (it can take a bit longer, so don't worry if it's not visible yet).
👂 Tiny buds that will become ears, eyes and arms are starting to form.
How you might feel:
• Morning sickness often starts now (it can happen any time of day!)
• Strong reactions to smells
• Extra tired and a little emotional
Tips for queasy days:
✔️ Eat small meals every 2–3 hours
✔️ Try ginger, lemon water or cold foods
✔️ Sip fluids between meals instead of with them
✔️ Call your provider if you can't keep fluids down
