A Cochrane review on continuous labor support found the following:

Doulas:
▪︎reduce the risk of a cesarean birth by 39%
▪︎increase the likelihood of spontaneous vaginally birth by 15%
▪︎decrease the use of pain relief by 10%
▪︎help shorten labor by about 41 minutes
▪︎reduce the risk of a low Apgar score for babies by 38%
▪︎reduce the risk of being unsatisfied with birth experiences by 31%
