We celebrated summer in style with a fancy dinner featuring refreshing Shirley Temples and a delicious seasonal meal. It was a wonderful evening to come together as a community to enjoy the sunshine and good company!🍴❤️☀️

Our community had an amazing time participating in the Swedish Days Parade! Residents enjoyed riding together on the bus, waving to the crowds, and soaking in all the excitement along the route.

It was a wonderful day filled with unforgettable memories. We love being part of events that bring people together and showcase the joy and connection our residents share every day. ❤️

We had a wonderful time celebrating Independence Day at our 4th of July Potluck! Residents came together to honor our nation’s 250th anniversary 🎇

From sharing favorite recipes to making new memories with friends and neighbors, the day was filled with laughter and community pride. Thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration so special!⭐

We had a flutter-tastic time with our friends from Hickory Knolls learning about the life cycle of butterflies! Residents discovered fascinating butterfly facts and let their creativity soar as they designed their own colorful butterfly wings. It was a fun-filled day of learning, laughter, and imagination and was a beautiful reminder of the wonders of nature! 🌿💜🦋

July is National UV Safety Awareness Month, and at Covenant Living, we love spending time outdoors in the beautiful summer sunshine! However, staying sun-savvy is about more than just avoiding a temporary sunburn—it's a vital part of senior wellness.

To keep our community healthy and energized, we always remind our residents:

🧴 Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen: Use SPF 30 or higher to protect skin from harmful UV rays.

👒 Wear smart sun protection: Opt for stylish wide-brimmed hats and UV-blocking sunglasses to shield your face and eyes.

🌿 Establish a post-sun routine: Use a deep moisturizer or aloe-based lotion to soothe and hydrate skin after spending time outdoors.

Remember, the sun is strongest between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, so let’s enjoy those cooler morning strolls and shady afternoon patios together!
