Motherhood can be beautiful, exhausting, joyful, overwhelming, and everything in between—sometimes all in the same day. During Maternal Mental Health Month, we want moms to know that struggling does not mean you’re failing. In fact, 1 in 5 women experience a mental health challenge during pregnancy or the postpartum period, yet many suffer in silence.
At Anchor Counseling, we believe every mom deserves support, compassion, and practical tools to help navigate the mental load that often comes with motherhood. Our Mom Thought Check worksheet is one of the many resources available to help moms challenge self-critical thoughts, practice self-compassion, and create more balanced thinking during difficult moments.
Whether you’re a new mom, a seasoned mom, a mom navigating loss, fertility challenges, adoption, or simply carrying the invisible weight of caring for others, your mental health matters.
This month, we invite you to:
✨ Check in with yourself as often as you check on everyone else.
✨ Use the tools and resources available to you.
✨ Reach out for support when you need it.
✨ Remember that “good enough” truly is enough.
You don’t have to do this alone. 💕
If you’d like access to our Maternal Mental Health resources, worksheets, support groups, or counseling services, we’re here to help.
