What should’ve been a calm and quiet Friday afternoon turned into impromptu ice cream floats, staff karaoke, the Chicken Dance, lots of laughs, and a whole lot of fun! 🍨🎤🐔😂 Sometimes the best memories are the ones we never planned at all. ❤️ What a fantastic Friday!

What an unforgettable day at The Landings of Georgetown!🐍🦝🐀

There were smiles, laughter, a few surprised faces, and yes… a few people who chose to admire from a safe distance! Some residents were all in, some weren’t quite sure what to think, and a few decided hiding was the best option. 😄

Experiences like these create lasting memories, spark conversation, and remind us that you’re never too old to try something new.

A huge thank you to Out of the Ark for sharing these incredible animals with us and to Family Hospice of Myrtle Beach for helping make this unique experience possible. We truly appreciate your partnership and for bringing such a fun, educational, and unforgettable day to our residents and team.

Who knew one afternoon could bring so many smiles—and so many reactions? ❤️🐍🦝

Today, we had the privilege of delivering lunch to the incredible team at the South Carolina Forestry Commission of Georgetown & Williamsburg County as a small token of our appreciation for their dedication and service. Earlier this summer, their quick response and expertise helped keep our community safe during a nearby forest fire.

On behalf of the residents and team at The Landings of Georgetown and The Crossings of Georgetown, thank you for your commitment to protecting our forests, our neighbors, and our community. We are truly grateful for all that you do. 💚🌲🚒

What a month it’s been! ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to our residents, families, staff, volunteers, business partners, the Georgetown County, SC Chamber of Commerce and everyone in our community who helped make these events such a tremendous success at both The Landings of Georgetown and The Crossings of Georgetown!

Together, we:
🩸 Collected 16 pints of blood to help save lives with The Blood Connection
💜 Raised funds for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s
🎄 Created unforgettable memories during our all-day Christmas in July celebration.
✂️ Celebrated new beginnings and welcomed many new faces at our Ribbon Cutting.
🇺🇸 Honored those who served at our monthly Veterans Breakfast.

We couldn’t have asked for a better way to close out July. As we welcome August, we’re excited to welcome new residents, continue building new friendships, and keep the momentum going!

Here’s to another month of engaged community, enriched lives, and lasting connections. We can’t wait to see what August brings! 💙💚

It was an honor to welcome so many of you to The Landings of Georgetown—many visiting our communities for the very first time! We loved opening our doors, sharing what makes our communities so special, building new connections, and celebrating this exciting milestone together.

Thank you for making the day so memorable. We are grateful for your support and look forward to seeing everyone again at the next Chamber event! 💙✂️🏡
