🎗September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month 🎗

Prostate cancer is the most common type of cancer (other than non-melanoma skin cancer) diagnosed in men in the United States.

Navigating cancer screenings, or facing a diagnosis alone is hard, that’s why La Red Health Center is here for you with the Delaware Screening for Life program.

La Red Health Center participates in the Screening for Life program that provides payment for cancer screening tests to qualified Delaware adults.

Cancers can be treated more effectively if they are found early, and Screening for Life can help you get the tests you need at the recommended times.

This expo will bring together a variety of community resources and health information! From employment opportunities and job connection services to free hygiene products food access, there’s something for everyone.

You don't have to face recovery alone. At La Red Health Center, we offer affordable, compassionate substance use disorder care. La Red Health Center provides medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) in a primary care setting.

Additionally, through our partnership with the Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health (DSAMH), we offer free Narcan®— a lifesaving medication that can reverse opioid overdoses — to anyone in the community.
