ATTENTION PREGNANT MAMAS!

If you are pregnant and planning to schedule a prenatal visit anytime between now and the end of the year, please go ahead and get those scheduled NOW- even if it’s for a couple months from now!

Emily and Kisstin’s schedules are staying very full and we want to ensure space for you to come in and learn/refresh all the things to set you up for a beautiful lactation journey! We dedicate up to 2 hours for these visits and therefore spots can be hard to come by (especially in the short-term).

You can use the self-scheduling tool on our website OR text us at 859-710-8056 to get on our books! We can’t wait to support you and want to make sure that everyone who needs us can get in!

Festival of the Horse is coming and we are so happy to once again offer a safe, clean and cool space for mamas and their babies to feed, change diapers, and find a quiet, cool moment in the chaos!

We would love to see some new faces but also LOVE when current patients and graduates stop in to say hello!

Everyone come on out to Georgetown’s most fun weekend and pop and see us!

A little social media quietness has been happening around here for the BEST reason! 💕 Our practice manager, Miranda, welcomed her beautiful baby girl, and we couldn’t be more overjoyed for her and the entire Bell family!

Miranda is soaking up all the newborn bliss, and sweet baby girl is already eating like a champ! 🍼💗 And of course, we are SO excited to welcome another little Bloom baby into the family! 🌸

Please join us in giving the Bell family the BIGGEST congratulations as they begin this beautiful new chapter. We are so incredibly happy for you all! ✨

This week is all about celebrating the incredible journeys of breastfeeding and feeding families. ✨ Winning Wednesday ✨

This sweet baby’s feeding journey has been full of progress! 💛

Just a few weeks ago, baby was transferring less than an ounce during feeds and mom was experiencing significant pain, leading them to transition to exclusive pumping. After a frenectomy and continued support, we are celebrating a huge milestone, 3.9 ounces transferred at the breast at today’s visit, just 2 weeks post-procedure! 🎉

Have you found yourself wondering if your baby is hydrated enough this summer? The good news is breast milk provides all the hydration your baby needs, even on the hottest days!

Here are our tips on how to keep your baby hydrated this summer:

💧 Nurse on demand.
During warmer weather, your baby may want to nurse more often, and that's completely normal. Those shorter, more frequent feeds help keep them hydrated.

💧 Trust your body to do what it's designed to do.
Breast milk naturally adjusts to your baby's needs. In hot weather, the milk at the beginning of a feed contains more water to help quench your baby's thirst and keep them hydrated. Babies under 6 months should not be given water.

💧 Don't forget about yourself!
Staying hydrated is so important while breastfeeding. Keep a water bottle nearby, sip throughout the day, and drink to thirst, especially when you're spending time outdoors or nursing more frequently.

Remember: Your baby knows what they need and your body is designed to respond. Trust the process, follow your baby's cues, and enjoy your summer together! ☀️
