There is something truly special about watching God’s creation come to life right before our eyes.

Our residents, Shirley and Deloris, have been lovingly caring for our garden plants, tending to them with patience, dedication, and pride. Thanks to the rain God has graciously provided, we’re now seeing our very first little tomatoes and green peppers beginning to grow!

The beauty of gardening reminds us that with faith, care, and time, wonderful things can happen. It has been a joy for our residents to watch these plants flourish and witness the blessings that God provides through nature.

We are so grateful for Shirley and Deloris’ hard work and for the simple pleasures that bring smiles to our days. God’s handiwork is all around us, and there is nothing quite as amazing as watching life grow.

Today, we would like to take a moment to recognize someone who makes a difference in our community every single week—Shane from Jay C Food Store in Floyds K***s.

Shane is always willing to lend a helping hand when we stop in for our weekly shopping trips. He never fails to greet us with a smile, and he always brightens Jen’s day when she comes through the store. Whether he’s helping push carts, loading groceries into the car, or simply taking the time to ask about our residents, his kindness and compassion never go unnoticed.

What means the most is that Shane genuinely cares. Each week, he looks forward to hearing how our residents are doing and takes a sincere interest in their well-being. It’s people like Shane who remind us that small acts of kindness can have a big impact.
