We're excited to share some wonderful news with our New Day family!

Please join us in welcoming Samantha Thomas, RN, BSN, back to New Day as our Director of Nursing!

Samantha's journey with our organization began in 2021, when our community was operating under a different name. She joined us as an Assistant Director, where her compassion, dedication, and commitment to excellence quickly became evident.

While working with our team, Samantha pursued her nursing degree, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), became a Registered Nurse (RN), and was promoted into a nursing leadership role. She continued serving our residents with exceptional care until 2024, when she chose to expand her experience by transitioning into hospice nursing.

During her time in hospice, Samantha further developed her clinical expertise, strengthened her leadership skills, and gained invaluable experience providing compassionate, person-centered care to individuals and families during some of life's most important moments.

Today, we are thrilled to welcome Samantha back to New Day. She returns with an even greater depth of knowledge, experience, and passion for serving others. As our Director of Nursing, she will lead our clinical team, support our caregivers, and help ensure we continue providing the exceptional care our residents deserve.

Welcome home, Samantha! We are grateful to have you back and look forward to the positive impact you'll continue to make on our residents, families, and team.
