Some wounds are invisible.
From Memorial Day to Independence Day, our nation is reminded of the courage, sacrifice, and service of those who have worn the uniform.
Honoring service also means understanding the experiences many veterans carry long after they return home.
According to recent SAMHSA data, approximately 1 in 5 veterans who served in a combat zone experienced a mental illness in the past year. These findings underscore the importance of trauma-informed support and evidence-based care.
CCI's 2-Day Comprehensive Trauma Training provides a deeper exploration of trauma, PTSD, and moral injury, with special emphasis on veteran populations. Participants gain practical tools and certification to facilitate both Battling Shadows and Breaking the Chains of Trauma programs.
