Dr. Sheahan is a Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologist specializing in diagnosis and treatment of back pain, neck pain, headaches and neurological conditions. Dr. Sheahan is originally from the Washington DC area, and is a Mt. Mary's College graduate with degrees in Biology and Chemistry and a Palmer College of Chiropractic graduate where he earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic. Dr. Wood joined

Gettysburg Chiropractic in September, 2024 following his graduation from Northeast College of Health Sciences with his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. Dr Wood is a Biglerville native and also a graduate of Messiah College.

Today is a sad day as I announce that due to continued health issues from CIDP, I will be retiring at the end of August. Not to worry, Dr. Wood will be taking over for me and the entire staff is staying and will all be here for the transition. Please read the attached letter.

Stay hydrated and yes, cutting the grass CAN wait! It's a good idea to alternate between water and electrolyte drinks. Hydration is especially important as we age, since our bodies handle heat differently (yay, another benefit of aging).
