Our community is powered by individuals who bring both skill and heart to their work every day. This month, we are incredibly proud to shine the spotlight on Brittany Miranda, one of our exceptional Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), as our Employee of the Month!
If you have spent time in our halls, you have likely experienced Brittany's calming presence. While she is a natural caregiver today, her original career aspirations lay in a completely different environment. "I wanted to be a marine biologist because I love the ocean," Brittany shares. "It's peaceful."
While she traded the deep blue sea for our skilled nursing community, she brought that exact sense of peace with her. Our residents benefit daily from her gentle, steady approach to care.
When she hangs up her scrubs, Brittany stays busy raising two children alongside her husband. She also pursues a fascinating mix of hobbies that keep her connected to nature. You might find her casting a line while fishing, or adding to her personal collection of crystals.
Brittany also holds a few surprises up her sleeve. Here are two things you might not know about our star CNA:
She is highly competitive: In high school, Brittany traveled extensively while playing competitive soccer in a traveling league.
She loves fantasy: If she could swap lives with any fictional character, she would instantly choose Daenerys Targaryen. Why? "She has dragons," Brittany laughs. "Who doesn't want dragons?"
Whether she is assisting residents with their daily routines or brightening the halls with her unique spirit, Brittany makes our facility a better place to live and work.
