The Gardens at Gettysburg is a 102-bed facility located on historic battle grounds in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. We offer short-term rehabilitation and long-term nursing care, as well as a secure, dedicated Alzheimer’s unit. Our highly skilled and compassionate team of doctors and nurses are experts in tracheotomy care, IV antibiotic administration, and enteral feedings. We also place a strong emph

asis on wound care, so you can heal and go back home as soon as possible. Our medical director is present at least four days a week, and we offer transportation to doctor appointments or dialysis treatments at no charge. ❤️Our hearts (and our voices!) are completely full after an incredible afternoon of live music here at The Gardens. Local favorite Elly Cooke Music stopped by to perform a spectacular lineup of country classics that had everyone smiling, tapping their toes, and singing along to every word. 🎶

✨A massive thank you to the wonderful volunteers from the Notre Dame Club for joining us and bringing so much vibrant energy to our community. Seeing our seniors, dedicated staff, and local volunteers come together to share memories through music is what community is all about. ☘️🎙️

✨We celebrated National Lemonade Day by treating our incredible staff to a well-deserved, refreshing break. Our team works tirelessly every single day to provide the absolute best care for our residents, so we wanted to sweeten up their shift!

From classic fresh-squeezed to fun fruit infusions, our team is pausing to sip, refresh, and recharge.

🎪 Step Right Up! The Gardens Summer Carnival Was a Huge Success! 🍿✨

Our center court was transformed into a full-blown boardwalk carnival this week, and the smiles on our residents' faces truly said it all! From nostalgic treats to classic midway games, it was a day filled with laughter, friendly competition, and beautiful memories.

Here is a look at the carnival fun captured in our photos below:

🍧 Sweet Summer Treats: The sweet aroma of fresh cotton candy filled the air, paired with ice-cold, colorful snow cones to beat the August heat!

🎯 Midway Games & Prizes: Our residents showed off their skills at the ball toss, prize wheel, and guessing games to win some awesome prizes.

🎈 Whimsical Balloon Animals: A talented artist stopped by to craft custom balloon butterflies, dogs, and swords for everyone.

📸 Photo Booth Fun: We made sure to capture the magic! Check out our residents letting loose with silly hats and goofy glasses in the photo booth.

Days like today remind us that joy, celebration, and community are what life is all about. A massive thank you to our incredible life enrichment team, staff, and volunteers who worked tirelessly to bring this carnival to life! 🎡❤️
