✨ We are incredibly honored and grateful to share that our physicians have been selected by parents as one of New Jersey’s Favorite Kids’ Doctors in New Jersey Family magazine for 2026! 💙

This recognition means so much because it comes from the families who trust us with their children’s care every day. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your family’s journey—from newborn visits and checkups to sick visits and every milestone in between.

We are truly grateful for your support, confidence, and kind nominations. Caring for your children is both our privilege and our passion.

The 2026 New Jersey Family magazine issue featuring this recognition will be available in the next 2–3 months, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you when it’s released!

From all of us, thank you for making us one of New Jersey’s Favorite Kids’ Doctors! ❤️👶🩺

Summer Safety tips -
Air Quality Alerts
In addition to the severity of heat in our area, there are also issues with air quality now.
Children are at a higher risk for adverse effects of wildfire smoke, especially infants and young children. Because their lungs are still developing, they breathe in more air per minute for their body size, and they are often more active than adults. Here are some tips to help keep your child safe from wildfire smoke. Learn more: https://bit.ly/3NikenF

Summer Safety tips! ☀️😅

Cyclospora cases are at high levels in many states in the US and increasing in NJ. Here is some important information to help you try to prevent this illness and know when to make an appointment for further testing.

Children become infected by eating or drinking something contaminated with the parasite. BUT it does NOT pass from person to person.

If you have persistent watery diarrhea, especially lasting more than 5 - 7 days, or you develop severe symptoms such as dehydration, fever, or bloody stools, it’s time to call the office for an appointment.

Here are a few things to know:
✅ Wash fresh fruits and vegetables before eating them (although washing may not eliminate all risk). Cooking vegetables should eliminate the risk.
✅ Stay hydrated if you develop diarrhea.
✅ Don’t assume you have Cyclospora just because you’ve seen it in the news. Many viruses, bacteria, parasites, medications, and other conditions can cause diarrhea.
✅ If your symptoms are prolonged, make an appointment if you want stool testing to determine the cause.
✅ If Cyclospora is diagnosed, it can usually be treated effectively with prescription antibiotics.

It’s understandable to have questions, especially since investigators are still working to identify the source of the current outbreak. We are here to help if you are concerned.
