What better way to experience the beauty of Gig Harbor than from the water?

Recently, a group of Heron’s Key residents enjoyed a gondola ride through the harbor with Gig Harbor Gondola and local gondolier John “Cinque” Synco. With peaceful waters and beautiful views, it was a memorable day on the harbor and a reminder of the beauty that surrounds us right here in our own backyard.

Sunshine, fresh oysters, and great company made for the perfect day at Hama Hama Oysters for a group of Heron’s Key residents.

What started as a shared love of oysters has grown into a resident-led enthusiast group that enjoys exploring oyster spots across the region together. This recent outing brought beautiful weather, waterfront views, beach walks, and of course, plenty of fresh oysters to enjoy.

This week at Heron’s Key, it was all about the cupcakes as residents and team members brought their best to our annual bake-off, competing for the coveted Golden Spoon!

From classic favorites to creative flavor combinations, the table was full of impressive (and delicious) entries. After past years of pies and cakes, this year’s cupcake showdown did not disappoint.

A fun afternoon filled with creativity, community, and of course… plenty of sweet treats.
