Residents and team members gathered today for Heron’s Key’s second annual Pride Parade, enjoying a beautiful afternoon filled with connection, celebration, and joy.

At Heron’s Key, we're grateful for opportunities to come together and celebrate the many experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives that make this such a special place to call home.

Last week, Heron's Key residents celebrated the recipients of the 2026 Heron's Key Scholarship Fund, awarding $57,000 in scholarships to 19 students as they take the next step in their educational journeys.

What began in 2018 with eight scholarships has grown into a resident-led program that has raised more than $184,600 and supported 134 students. From fundraising and application review to recipient selection, the program remains entirely led by Heron's Key residents who believe deeply in the value of education and community support.

Congratulations to this year's scholars, and thank you to the residents whose dedication continues to create opportunities for future generations.

Stars, stripes, and plenty of Heron’s Key spirit!

This past Saturday, residents and team members proudly joined the Maritime Gig Parade, celebrating this year’s Stars & Stripes theme with creativity, enthusiasm, and a whole lot of fun. From festive decorations to resident cheers that had the crowd applauding along the route, it was a wonderful afternoon spent connecting with the Gig Harbor community.

We may not have brought home a float award, but we’re pretty sure we won the prize for most fun!

Thanks to Maritime Gig Festival for another wonderful community tradition.

What better way to experience the beauty of Gig Harbor than from the water?

Recently, a group of Heron’s Key residents enjoyed a gondola ride through the harbor with Gig Harbor Gondola and local gondolier John “Cinque” Synco. With peaceful waters and beautiful views, it was a memorable day on the harbor and a reminder of the beauty that surrounds us right here in our own backyard.
