Last year, a young boy came to see me for seizures. He has had seizures since 2019, and was evaluated in an ER in California, and Phoenix, before he came to me, no clear etiology was found.
I found out that he has a right side brain tumor. The tumor is shown next to the cursor. This lesion could be missed by a head CT scan.
The brain tumor surgery has been scheduled. 👍👍

I just received them today. Please read them and remember all of them.

This is Friday, the last working day of the 2022. We close the office after lunch.
Just before we closed, I received an urgent call from a radiologist about my patient’s brain MRI scans. The patient was still inside the MRI scan machine when he called. It turned out that about two weeks ago, I saw a new patient with blurry vision and some headaches. She was evaluated by the ophthalmologist for months before she came to me. No clear etiology was found.
I ordered a brain MRI scan with contrast. It showed a large tumor, with mass effect!
Since she was still inside the scanner, I waited until she finished the scans, then called her, informed her of the results. I also adjusted her medication.
Then, we immediately faxed the referral to the best neurosurgeon at the Mayo Clinic. I texted the neurosurgeon who told me that he would see the patient next week!(This is Friday afternoon). So, I secured an appointment for her quickly! Yeah! 👍
After all was done, we closed the clinic, and finished the year of 2022.
What a privilege to help people! 💪👍😊
