💜 Volunteer Spotlight: Michelle & Levi 🐾

We’re excited to introduce one of our incredible volunteers, Michelle Kern, who has been sharing her heart with Always Present Hospice for the past 5 years alongside her sweet therapy dog, Levi.

Michelle is a business owner, a devoted wife, and a proud dog mom who loves cooking, music, and spending time outdoors. Her passion for helping others extends beyond her personal life—she and Levi have been bringing comfort and joy through pet therapy for 8 years.

What inspired Michelle to volunteer in hospice?
“A deep love for people and dogs—this was the perfect fit for both me and Levi.”

One of the most meaningful parts of her volunteer work is seeing the smiles that light up when residents see Levi. His presence has a special way of bringing out the best in people and even helping spark precious memories—something Michelle describes as truly priceless.
