We had a wonderful morning sharing breakfast, stories, and camaraderie with our Veterans at Abbington Senior Living of Gilbert, Arizona.

Today, we reflected on memories from basic training, overseas assignments, the leaders who shaped us, and, of course, a few stories about "Top." Those experiences remind us that the bonds forged in military service never fade. Every Veteran has a story worth sharing, and every story helps preserve the legacy of those who served.

We also talked about the importance of staying positive, staying active, and staying connected. We encouraged everyone to wear their Veteran caps with pride, reach out to fellow Veterans, and continue looking out for one another. Together, we can ensure no Veteran feels forgotten or alone.

A special thank you to our incredible Veterans Affinity volunteers. Your compassion, dedication, and willingness to serve create meaningful moments that truly matter. Every visit, every conversation, and every act of kindness strengthen connections, restores camaraderie, and reminds our Veteran seniors that they are seen, valued, and never alone. We had another special morning with our Veteran seniors at Abbington Senior Living of Gilbert. Veterans shared stories of service, overseas assignments, pictures, and experiences that shaped their lives.

As always, the room was filled with camaraderie and understanding, the kind of bond that only fellow service members truly share. These gatherings become more than storytelling. They become connection, healing, and legacy building.

It’s an honor to create space for these heroes to reflect, remember, and continue serving one another through fellowship and shared experience. Many thanks to our Veterans Affinity Team for the incredible work they do connecting with our Veterans in senior living communities. Ahoy! Last week we took our Inaugural "Cruise" on the SS Abbington!

We started with a Bon Voyage party, went deep sea fishing in Mexico, modeled through Paris Fashion Week, hunted wild animals on Safari and wrapped up with a Hawaiian Luau! What a fun and adventurous week! Come check us out!
