We are excited to share a special community fundraiser happening right here in our clinic!
This year, Gilbert Prenatal Massage is partnering with Dr. West at Mend Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine to support the Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network (TMMSN) through a donation drive called:
The Giving Reef 🪸🐠🐬
From the desert to the sea, small acts make waves.
TMMSN is a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescue, rehabilitation, research, and education to help protect marine mammals in need.
A special Giving Reef display has been created in the clinic, including a large coral reef where anyone who donates can write their name on a fish and add it to the reef. Over the course of the campaign, we’ll get to watch the reef fill with colorful fish representing the generosity of our shared clinic community.
How to donate
You can participate in several ways:
Scan the TMMSN QR code at the Giving Reef display and donate directly to the organization. Please add “Dr. West” in the comment section so TMMSN can track donations connected with our clinic fundraiser.
Write a check payable to “TMMSN” and write “Dr. West” in the memo line.
Leave a cash donation at the clinic, and it will be collected and forwarded to TMMSN.
If you are no longer coming into the clinic regularly, you can still participate by donating directly through the TMMSN QR code or through DolphinRescue.org. Please remember to include “Dr. West” in the comment section so your donation can be counted toward The Giving Reef total.
TMMSN has kindly offered to track donations associated with our clinic and provide a final total at the end of the campaign, so we’ll be able to see just how big a wave our community created together. 🌊
