The real sign of healing is finally feeling safe enough to let your guard down completely 😭🐒

There was a time when sleep was the most risky moment for Little Punchy. As a small, abandoned baby among stronger animals, he had to stay alert constantly, even while resting, to avoid harm.

Now, everything has changed. In recent images, Punchy lies on his back with his belly exposed, showing complete comfort. Holding his “Mama Doll,” he is no longer tense or hiding, but resting peacefully.

This change reflects the care and safe environment provided by his zookeepers. For the first time, Punchy can truly relax, showing how trust and safety play a key role in healing.

Hello All,

As we reach the end of the year, I’ve noticed many people navigating endings, transitions, and losses. It’s been a lot for so many of us the last few years.

Right now, most people don’t need an entirely new plan. They need a moment of relief.

This time of year has a way of stacking things quietly, expectations, unfinished business, pressures we thought we released, sneaking back to the surface, realizing we were still holding things that no longer serve us or hold us back from growth.

Before we jump into 2026 with new goals, resolutions, or thoughts of moving forward, it can be helpful to be still and ask ourselves, “What am I choosing to release and what am I no longer accepting?

Not everything from this year needs to follow us into the next.

With that said, take a moment to reflect and be open to connecting with your higher selves.

Pausing even briefly can set intentional space to let go of what feels heavy, unresolved, or lingering in your energy, allowing a fresh step into the new year feeling clearer and more grounded.

May the coming year begin with more peace, joy, and genuine circles that support your hopes and dreams.

I read this and it made me think of all the beautiful souls I get the privilege to work with everyday and have worked with in the past and how truly blessed we are to grow throughout our recovery journey..

We all talk to ourselves all day, and yet no one teaches us what thoughts are.

Thoughts are not truth. They reflect the state of our nervous system and the core beliefs built from birth-age 7. Thoughts are habits. If you start to observe your thoughts, you’ll see that you tend to think the same things over and over again. They’re your pattern.

And your thought patterns are greatly shaped what you’ve experienced in life. Not, the reality of what life is. Or what life can be.

Most of us react to our thoughts as if they’re 100% true. We’ve never questioned them. And some of us don’t even notice what we think. Yet, those thoughts drive our emotions. And those emotions drive our behavior.

Human beings are wildly powerful. We can adapt, start over, heal, and evolve as long as we’re breathing.

Your thoughts are not truths. The more you question them and embody who you want to be, the more life mirrors back to you a new way of existing. The more doors start to open up. The more new people come into your life

All we need is to take the first step by allowing ourselves to heal... why allow your childhood, trauma, and Addiction steal another moment of your life.. you can choose freedom or victim the choice is really ours. Even if your trying it is better then not doing anything at all to change it.
