Today, the Redemption Psychiatry team is proud to be walking together at the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention Out of the Darkness Walk at Arizona State University 💙

We’re here side by side, walking as a team in support of su***de prevention, in honor of those we’ve lost, and for everyone who continues to fight their way through the darkness.

This walk is a powerful reminder that none of us are alone. Every step represents hope, connection, and the importance of showing up for one another.

Today we say goodbye to a very special member of the Redemption Psychiatry family.

Falkor, Dr. Friday’s beloved golden retriever and therapy dog, passed away today. For many years Falkor accompanied Dr. Friday to the clinic and quietly became a comforting presence for countless patients and staff. Whether he was greeting someone in the waiting room, sitting beside a chair during an appointment, or simply offering a calm presence on a difficult day, Falkor helped make Redemption Psychiatry feel a little more like home.

Therapy dogs have a remarkable way of reaching people when words fall short, and Falkor did that every day with gentle patience and kindness.

He will be deeply missed by our team and by the many patients whose days he brightened over the years.

Thank you, Falkor, for the comfort, loyalty, and joy you brought into so many lives.
