Desert Shores Pediatrics has pediatric offices located in Gilbert and Chandler Arizona. We will provide the full spectrum of pediatric healthcare (well, sick, preventative and urgent care) from birth to age 18. Procedures offered include: laboratory services (limited), hearing and vision testing, breathing treatments, splinting, wart removal, catheterizations, ear irrigations, laceration repair, removal of foreign bodies, abscess drainage and circumcisions.

Vitamin K helps our bodies make blood clots to stop bleeding. Newborns who don't get a Vitamin K shot are at risk for Vit K Deficiency Bleeding (VKDB), which means they cannot make clots and cannot stop bleeding.
